Class Action is the second half of the second episode of season 1.

The episode was produced in 2002 and premiered worldwide on October 25, 2002 in Australia and on Nickelodeon in the United States on August 8, 2003.

Synopsis[]

Jenny is preparing for the greatest challenge she's ever faced... high school. She's looking to make some new friends, and she's found some in Brit and Tiff Crust. Unfortunately, the Crusts don't quite share the same feelings. Jenny's going to learn the hard way that not all people can be trusted.

Plot[]

First Day[]

Class Action (2002) begins with Dr. Wakeman and Jenny embarking on what appears to be a dangerous mission. However, it is then revealed that Jenny is simply being dropped off for her first day at Tremorton High. Wakeman embarrasses Jenny by honking her horn and loudly wishing her luck, arousing laughter from all of the other students on campus.

Brad meets up in the hallway with Jenny, who is reading an "In-Crowd" magazine giving advice on popularity and fitting in.

Suddenly, they bump into the Crust Cousins, Brit and Tiff, who are the most popular students in the whole school. Jenny seizes this opportunity to try and socialize with them, using a ton of slang that she discovered from the magazine. Brit and Tiff immediately reject Jenny, with the excuse that their clique is "too full."

Not-So-Smooth Sailing[]

Brad suggests that Jenny just be herself, but she'd rather fit in. This turns out disastrous for the robot girl, as she ends up causing destruction throughout her first day due to her being a robot.

After humiliation after humiliation, Jenny consults the "Problem Droid", which is actually a PA system, for help. Suddenly, Brit appears with a microphone connected to the system, having Jenny speak into it, which the whole school hears through all of the loudspeakers. Principal Razinski shows up, and an embarrassed Jenny hands him the microphone.

At lunch, Brad checks back in with Jenny, who informs him of how awful her day has been. Brad then suggests to she "opens up" to everybody, which she takes very literally by revealing all of her robotic extensions. This attracts the attention everybody in the cafeteria, except for Brit and Tiff, who devise a plan to ruin Jenny's day even further.

The Fire[]

Later, in Mr. Piggot's chemistry class, Piggot tries to demonstrate how flames give rise to chemicals to the class, but the Bunsen Burner isn't working. Brit suggests to Piggot that Jenny heat up the beaker for him, to which Jenny reluctantly accepts.

This is when Brit has Tiff launch one of her bobby pins into Jenny's hand laser, causing the laser to malfunction and result in a massive fire. Jenny evacuates the students from the fire, but Brit and Tiff are back in the burning classroom, laughing maniacally about Jenny's potential expulsion. Suddenly, the two become trapped in the fire, and cry for help. Jenny comes to their rescue, despite their awful treatment of her and them being the true culprits of the fire.

Suddenly, the school's furnace begins to malfunction from the heat of the fire. Jenny flies up with the furnace, which explodes high in the sky. It appears that Jenny was destroyed in the process, as one of her limbs falls to the ground. However, as it turns out, Jenny is alive and well, and Brad returns her missing limb.

Happy Ending[]

Razinski shows up with two firemen, accusing Jenny of starting the fire. As the fire fighters approach Jenny, Brit and Tiff come clean as the real culprits. Brit shakes Jenny's hand, causing the bobby pin that caused the fire to fall out. Razinski recognizes the bobby pin as one of Tiff's, and has the firemen take Brit and Tiff away. Brit and Tiff instantly revert back to loathing Jenny, despite being the ones to rat themselves out.

Brad reassures to Jenny that it can't possibly get any worse, but Jenny says that her day actually turned out great, as she saved the school and her dignity remains unharmed.

As she beams that she can't wait for more days of school, Tremorton High collapses behind her, but is renovated by the next episode, Attack of the 5½ Ft. Geek (2002).
