Teenage Mutant Ninja Troubles is the second half of the twelfth episode of season 2 of My Life as a Teenage Robot.

The episode was produced in 2005 and premiered worldwide on March 27, 2005 in the United Kingdom and on Nickelodeon in the United States on September 9 of that year.

Synopsis[]

Due to internal disputes, the Teen Team has broken up. With no place left to go, Misty heads back to Earth to spend time with Jenny. Misty's appearance in school, however, earns her teasing from Brit and Tiff. Scorned, Misty convinces Jenny to get back at the Crusts via a prank war. The only problem, however, is that once Misty gets started on something, she doesn't know when to stop. She soon becomes mad with power, and Jenny must convince her pal that enough is enough before things get too serious.

Plot[]

It starts at outer space, a pink comet heads to Earth, meanwhile in Tremorton High School in the science room, Mr. Piggot told the new lab is up and running, hoping that certain somebody (meaning Jenny) keep her laser beam away from the chemical lab this time. The students were assigned to find a partner, Jenny was working with two girls, Brit reply "More like superzero." and Tiff agreed with "Who wants to partner up with your rusting rear?"

    • This episode premiered in the United Kingdom on March 27, 2005.
    • This episode premiered in Australia on April 8, 2005.
  • Although Misty causes trouble for Brit and Tiff, the Verizon FiOS TV listings mistake states Misty's causing trouble for Brad and Tiff.
  • Tiff is afraid of spiders, Brit is afraid of heights, and both have a shared fear of nerds.
  • The episode title is a pun on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
    • Also on October 21, 2009, Viacom brought the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles from Peter Laird to Nickelodeon and started in the year of 2012.
  • While Brit wears her standard dark magenta jacket in this episode, Tiff wears a different colored hat, that being lavender.
  • Brit and Tiff reused many attires such as the England and France attire from Ear No Evil (2002).
  • Seeing as the Teen Team had broken up, the design of Misty’s outfit was changed in this episode; the T symbols previously seen on her pants in Teen Team Time (2004) were replaced with a flame pattern.
  • While Jenny and Misty were talking to each other on the phone, the zig zag lined split screen theme, (zig zag line representing a phone radio signal), was used as seen from the start of the opening (2002) showing Jenny and Brad.
  • This episode, along with its companion episode Toying With Jenny (2005), were skipped on Nicktoons for unknown reasons.
  • This is the last episode to premiere first on Nickelodeon in the United States.
